Presley today

I know I am behind on my blogging, but there will be more to come for all my sessions. Presley had a spectacular session. Never shot either place before. Check the regular site in the next day or so for a lot of senior updates.
She came in yesterday and today for two different sessions. I asked her a pretty tuff 80's music trivia question to win a little extra time. I didn't have the question out of my mouth and she had the answer. Questions will now be a little harder.

Kaitlyn was here yesterday.

Killer? She got a 2 outfit location session free for coming in early. I did a fun one in a parking lot. She is going to have a bunch of proofs to take home. What a great attitude the girl has on life!

Two from the other day of Jessica.

Nice location session! Early morning. Then back to the studio.

4 We do proofs that you take home on all of our sessions. (Our competition doesn't. You have to order on-line)
5 You don't have to drive to BFE to get images from 2009 West Virginia Photographer of the Year. (I'm right here in Stonewood)
6 You won't have to drive to BFE to pick up your proofs and go though a high pressure sales "pre sale". You know... " would you like to have fries with that" (Our competition does.)
7 You wont have to drive back to BFE to place your order or place your order on line where you can actually hold and spread out your images on the table. You will be able to take them to work or school and show friends and family. (Not if you have to order on-line) We send actual photographs home with you.
8 You won't have to drive to BFE to pick up your order. If you can't make it here by 5pm we will be glad to stay a few minutes for you to swing by to pick them up.

11 Best color HANDS DOWN! Take a look at the color and contrast of other photographers images. We know how to push our digital files to get the best color and saturation. You won't look orange, off color, or dead looking greenish blue. We see good color. We know how to make you look tan or"full of life".

Outstanding imagery!

A In there sleavezies.

While she is not know for her jokes or for her blazin speed in track, but she is extremely smart and down to earth and a great person. I had a lot of fun shooting her.

Have I posted this?

My friend Chuck Huber and I flying upside down in a 1927 Waco biplane. Camera hooked to the wing and fired by remote. Shot over top Moraine Ohio countryside. When the pilot turned his hat around backwards WATCH OUT! He did around 50 loops hammerheads and barrel rolls. Makes any roller coaster a kiddie ride. I asked him how he learned to fly. He said OJT. (On the job training.) He needed to learn how to crop dust when he was a kid. His family traded a tractor for a plane and flying lessons. Harry was the mayor of Moraine Ohio when I shot this. Moraine is about the size of Clarksburg and is right outside Dayton.

Happy Birthday Ansel Adams

Ansel would have been 107 on Feb. 20. he was first trained to be a concert pianist. He was the father of the modern exposure system called The Zone System. His images were of outstanding quality even back in 1930's and 40's. Mostly shot in BW. I named my studio for one of the steps in the Zone System. D-Max means complete black, or Zone 0 (zero). I have seen a bunch of his images up close. I saw a series on display at the Smithsonian in Washington DC over this weekend. He once made an image (one) in 1941 that sold for $44,000. People think Im expensive. Anyho, Happy Birthday AA!
